Historic Seoul, Modern Design

It was Seoul’s pulsing modern ideal that influenced renownedIitalian architect Guido Ciompi, who designed each of the 410 guest rooms at the plaza Seoul in a palette of sensuous hues and unique patterns.

Custom-made furniture lends a distinctly contemporary edge, while a smart touchpad accommodates the modern lifestyle by enabling guests to remotely adjust everything from the level of the shades to the brightness of the lights. After a day of historical discovery – Deoksugung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the Sungnyemun Gate are all nearby – guests dine at one of the six on-site restaurants that cater to global tastes.
