A signature stamp on modern luxury

Where once you would have found Philadelphia’s notary offices, The Notary Hotel is now dedicated to a more luxurious take on civil service.

Formerly the City Hall Annex, this 1926 building plays host to The Notary Hotel. Taking inspiration from its namesake, the hotel nods to its history with patent books and whimsical embossing stamps present throughout. The original marble floors and brass moldings relish in the hotel’s historic architecture, whilst the contemporary décor adds fresh, modern flare.

Steps from the center of Philadelphia, guests are encouraged to explore the best this culturally unique city has to offer. The Philadelphia Museum of Art and Liberty Bell are both nearby, and throughout the year the city welcomes all manner of sports to its vibrant stadiums and streets. After a day of exploration, Sabroso + Sorbo, the in-hotel tapas restaurant, will revive you with a dynamic menu of small plates, accompanied by the signature sounds of Philly soul music.
