Hotel Banke Opera
Paris, France
Most unmistakably Parisian
In the heart of Paris’ artistic Opera Garnier neighborhood, the historic Hotel Banke Opera puts on an elegant production all of its own.
Hotel Banke Opera's mark on Paris is imbedded in it's DNA. With its grounds once holding the palace and birthplace of Napoléon III, the hotel is steeped in rich history. With golden and red interiors inspired by the elegance of the opera, the overall aesthetic is one of timeless, Parisian chic.
This balance of stately architecture and contemporary design is threaded throughout the hotel. From the vast chandeliers in the hotel bar, to the traditional French Mediterranean cuisine in the Josefin Restaurant. And in a final celebration of all that is historic about the Hotel Banke Opera, conserved in the building is one of Paris’ first electric elevators. Designed by Roux-Combaluzier, whose elevators are also fitted within another, iconic Parisian monument: The Eiffel Tower.
