BEHIND OUR NUMBERS

Upon joining the collection, each hotel is appointed with a unique number honoring its individuality and designed to reflect its personality.

NO. 200 // GRAND UNIVERSE LUCCA

This number was inspired by the hotel’s logo, which honors the labyrinth seen at San Martino’s cathedral in Lucca and in the building’s ancient Roman roots. The labyrinth symbolizes a journey through time, which guests can experience in the hotel’s classic-meets-contemporary design.

NO. 150 // RYSE

Influenced by the boho vibe of the surrounding Hongdae neighborhood, this Seoul hotel showcases an eclectic mix of raw and polished elements. The sharp angles and vertical lines that can be seen throughout served as inspiration for the “Y” in the hotel’s logo, as well as the design of its number.

NO. 135 // THE DOUGLAS

Named for the iconic fir tree, this Vancouver hotel immerses guests in nature through warm, wood details, and floor-to-ceiling windows that reveal forest and mountain views. Keeping with this theme, the hotel’s number was designed to look like the cross-section cut of a wood log.

NO. 55 // HOTEL AM STEINPLATZ

Originally opened in 1913 and re-opened in 2013, this West Berlin hotel’s striking interior captures the flair of the Art Deco movement with a harmonious mix of old and new elements. The number was designed to mimic the shape of one of the hotel’s interior courtyards.

NO. 13 // THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS

The design star at this stunning resort and casino is The Chandelier, a three-tiered bar that invites guests to sip cocktails amidst two million gleaming crystals. Its number is comprised of three lines that, together, emulate these crystals.
